AHON trains teachers

This is the challenge that faces all the public school teachers all over the country. For the assigned librarians, their burdens are doubled because they also handle teaching loads on top of their library responsibility. Good thing that there are still hardworking, resourceful and creative teachers who continue to work harder to ensure that their students will be getting the best education possible.

In an effort to equip our teachers with skills and bolster their potential in creatively harnessing their library, Acts of Hope for the Nation (AHON) Foundation in cooperation with Ateneo de Manila University-Rizal Library conducted a two-day basic librarianship training seminar last April 16-17, 2012.

Congratulations to the  twenty-four delegates, coming from Quezon city, Marikina, Pasig, Manila and from as far as Nueva Ecija! Thank you so much to our facilitators from Ateneo de Manila University Ms. Susan Pador, Mr. Gerry Laroza, Ms. Pam Albania, Ms. Mikee Soriano, Ms. Solvie Nubla-Lee and Ms. Lourdes David!
